I recently get this error when building sphinx docs with contrib images installed via pip:

NameError: name 'status_iterator' is not defined

And I fixed it like this:

32c32
<     from sphinx.util.display import status_iterator
---
>     from sphinx.util import status_iterator

Besides the import only has bare try except pass around it by the way.
