Invisible entities

While attempting to play with a friend, I stumbled upon a bug that causes entities (Mobs, me, my friend and even the Inked blocks!) to be invisible. What I found is that it was the mod called "ESSENTIAL Mod" messing with Splatcraft for some reason. I use ESSENTIAL to basically create a free server for me and my friends to play on, and usually it works flawlessly without fuss. No crashing or anything else happened, it's just that when I make worlds and go into preexisting worlds, entities and Inked blocks are invisible.
