Why I build

I build open-source systems for libraries, data, and security — focused on making complex systems understandable, usable, and transparent.

At every level, my work is about understanding the systems that shape access to information — and making them visible.

Libraries are no longer just collections — they are complex technical systems that power access to information. I believe those systems should be transparent, understandable, and openly built.

What I’ve built

  • Cipher Museum — an interactive cryptography platform exploring 3,900+ years of encryption and codebreaking, focused on learning how ciphers actually fail
  • Crypto Lab — hands-on tools for learning encryption and analysis
  • Library data and automation systems — improving workflows, reporting, and access
