Space & Tab toleration - Fill the blanks

Thank you very much for the great work. I would like to inquire if it's possible to add a configuration that can detect and tolerate multiple spaces or tabs, as illustrated in the example below:

Another possible solution could involve using an algorithm to highlight only the differing characters, like anki's default, without striking the entire phrase.
