Plus Editor: code formatting for words/characters, too

If I am not mistaken, Plus Editor currently only offers code formatting in the toolbar for entire paragraphs. In other words, when you select the "code" style, it wraps the entire paragraph in a grey box. That is useful, but I would also like to be able to style individual words as code (like I am doing right here).

As I discovered by chance that is possible by switching to code view and wrapping the words to be formatted as code in <code> tags. It would be nice to make that process easier by adding a toolbar icon and keyboard shortcut.

The Plus Editor is based on an open source component called Summernote, so it's unlikely we'll be making modifications to it ourself. I agree this would be useful, but I don't see this feature too often in any WYSIYG editor.

As a sort of personal recommendation for now, another option would be to use backticks ` in the Fancy Markdown Editor, and then open the HTML view in that same editor to get the final HTML. Personally I like to write code in Markdown, then convert to HTML when necessary to get in that format. All that can be done using the Fancy Markdown Editor.
