Automatic Mode no longer creates new temporary containers in LibreWolf (regression) #652

Hi stoically,

First of all — huge thanks for Temporary Containers and all the years of maintenance! It’s still one of the most important extensions I use every day.
I’m writing to report that Automatic Mode has stopped working in the current versions of LibreWolf.
When Automatic Mode is enabled, clicking regular links or typing a new URL in the address bar opens everything in the same non-temporary tab/container instead of creating a new temporary container as it used to.
Details

Temporary Containers version: 1.9.2 (also tested with the latest nightly build from GitHub Actions – same problem)
LibreWolf version: 131.0.3-1 (also reproduced on 131.0-1 and 130.x)
Operating system: Windows 11 24H2 (but I saw the same reports on Linux in the Matrix room)
Multi-Account Containers extension: installed, latest version
No other container-related extensions installed
Tested with a completely fresh LibreWolf profile (only Temporary Containers + Multi-Account Containers installed) → still broken

What works

Manual mode (right-click → “Open Link in New Temporary Container”) works perfectly
Isolation rules and other features seem unaffected
Automatic Mode still works without problems in regular Firefox 131 ESR and Firefox 132

It feels like a regression that appeared when LibreWolf updated to Firefox 131 or shortly after (some users in the Matrix room noticed it around the beginning of December 2025).
Would you have time to take a look at what might have changed in LibreWolf (or Firefox 131) that breaks the automatic container creation? I know LibreWolf hardens a lot of preferences, so it might be something like privacy.resistFingerprinting or a container-related pref that changed behavior.

Thank you again for this amazing extension
