Live Preview not updating

The Live Preview window isn't updating as changes are being made on the content editor side, even after pressing the save button. It only shows the change after refreshing.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Content Manager -> Articles
2. Open Live Preview and make a change on the content side

Expected behavior

It should update as you are typing in the content editor window.

@fonodi I did some additional testing using Live Preview in a separate application. While live updates were working, not all fields were editable.

This makes me suspect it’s not a Launchpad issue. Can anyone confirm whether they’re seeing the same behavior?

This is a core issue with live preview in Strapi not having functionality for Blocks/Media.

I have an active PR on the Strapi repo to fix this, getting it onto an experimental branch tonight for the demo on Friday.

I'll close this issue when it's merged into Core and updated in LaunchPad.
