Hello everyone, this is a discussion thread of VectorSearch of Apache Doris. Apache Doris introduces vector search since its 4.x version, and integrates vector search with its inverted index so that users can perform hybrid search. With Apache Doris, you get a cloud-native, distributed, and scalable database that supports hybrid retrieval (vector + keyword + structured filtering) in a single system. This allows you to build high-performance AI applications—such as RAG pipelines, semantic search, recommendation, similarity matching—without maintaining separate search engines or external services.
