Dependents on a coordination

In UD, the dependents of a coordination are attached to the head of the coordination and in SUD, they are attached to the closest conjunct. Each solution has its advantage and disadvantage.

In the conversion from SUD to UD, we mark the heads of dependents on a coordination with the feature Shared=Yes. I propose to use it to left dependents as well as to right dependents.

Examples:
tous les employés et les ouvriers (all employees and workers)
In SUD: employés --[mod]-> tous [Shared=Yes]
les employés et les ouvriers de l'entreprise (the employees and workers of the company)
In SUD: ouvriers --[mod]-> de[Shared=Yes]

The conversion from SUD to UD is made more complicated when the dependent does not directly depend on the heads of all conjuncts.

In your examples such as est ou a été and sur et autour de, do you want to do something? In my 1997 paper on bubble trees, I gave examples like these and I proposed to introduce bubbles for units such as a été or autour de. I think I will still propose a similar solution. In SUD it would consist in adding a feature on the dependency between the two element of the bubble. The same annotation could be useful for other constructions, in particular gapping:

Pierre veut appeler la police et Marie les pompiers.

Here veut appeler has a "bubble" property.
