The photos of old boards (most notable B18 get stretched out on this page. When you open the image in a new tab, the true aspect ratio is shown.

This should probably be an easy fix, although we can also just make sure the images are the right aspect ratio to begin with, that way they don't get deformed.

I'd say we have two options to fix this issue. We can either have the images grow vertically, which breaks the alignment in the row. Alternatively, we can make them not fit to 100% width. Personally I like the second option better, although it is not my place to decide.

Alternatively, you can give every cover photo a fixed ratio using the CSS ratio property, which you can then combine with the object-fit: cover CSS property on the img element to make sure the photos are all the same size and cover the whole area, eliminating the bars on the side present in option 2 without breaking alignment, like in option 1. The only risk that entails is that a part of the image will be cut off, but considering the negative space that is likely present in these photos that will not be much of a problem.
