Failed to open project after MS-Dial and computer crashes from trying to open MS-Finder through MS-Dial

Hi,

I am trying to manually check all the metabolites that were hits in my project. As part of this process I select a metabolite then use MS-Finder which opens through MS-Dial. For some of the metabolites this causes my entire computer to crash and just shut itself off. This is frustrating as it doesn't save my work when this happens. It has been happening a lot recently and now I can not even open the project. I tried opening a different project and that works. I tried to restart the app and press the 'x' to stop loading the project but then a message pops up warning this could corrupt my project. If I do not close it though, it loads forever.

Is there a way to fix this? I do not want to have to start my project all over again, it takes a really long time since I have a lot of samples and have spent so much time checking all the hits.

Here is a picture of what I am getting as an error response. It is asking me to check the project file but I have no idea how to do that and the only application that should be able to open it is MS-Dial which obviously isn't working.

I had to restart the project. I made copies of the project file incase MS-Dial crashed again and would not let me open the main project. On my new project the same issue happened again and I cant open the project or the copies I made of it. I cant even open the dataset for the projects. Nothing happens when I try to open the copies. When I try to open the dataset I get the same "failed to load project" message.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to have to keep restarting my projects.
