How to call Stop Function on a button click?

My Record and stop function is working but i want to call stop function on a button as well.

Case:
I am showing recorder in a popup and there is CROSS/CLOSE button for popup.
So if I close popup directly without stopping my recording then in this case it will not stop recording automatically so I want to call "stop Function" on Close button.
