Captions are rendered at wrong times

I've been using the `flv+srt` command to insert closed captions on my flv. 

When I play the output file, the captions don't appear at the timestamps specified by the `.srt`. Is this behaviou expected in this framework? Do I need to have to encode the input .flv with a specific parameters?
