Status message box too small

The grey status message box at top right of the main UI is too short to show messages.

This fits:
pl.taskChanged(this, "Sending soft reset");

This doesn't, because on Linux the serial port path can be quite long:
pl.taskChanged(this, "opening '"+i.getName()+"'");
