Navigation / access problems in DNSNet sideloaded onto Bravia TV (question) #127

I successfully installed DNSNet on my Bravia TV, and it works really well. (D__1__$__n__e__y+, ahem...)
I just can't figure out how to get to the sub-menus; I tried with my remote and a mouse -- the former can't get to anything and the latter doesn't work at all.
What I mean is this: the initial setup worked great. I picked the settings and started the service. But now, when I want to change anything, I'm unable to. I can move up and down in the left nav (start, filters, apps, dns), and I can, e.g., in filters, click on the + sign to get to the 3 options (add filter, add filter file, presets). But I can't get to the refresh daily toggle.
It's not so important on that nav point, but the start section has, e.g., resume on system start-up and export or import settings. Again, I can't get to those. It's as if there's a layer that's inaccessible. (Not a programmer, so no idea what it could be.)

Am I missing something, as in: is there a trick to get to those "lower layers?"

Edit: obfuscated streaming service more.
