I see that you don't have any RS-485 test. It is an awesome tech that I did use extensively for home automation purposes.

I cheated and used ethernet pairs to transport it as my home is fully rj45 wired ;-)

Also there's plenty of modules

• With Automatic TX/RX
• With Manual TX/RX
• With USB

great idea @steveschnepp I haven't used RS-485 for years!

Thanks for the links, I'll have to go shopping;-) Also checked my inventory and seems I bought some ST485CDR chips a few years back but did nothing with them (yet)
