Autocomplete, spellcheck and autocorrect do not always work on Android

Autocomplete, spellcheck and autocorrect do not always work on Android using the stock keyboard, tested with an N4, N5 and N5x. In this gif you can see that the autocomplete is not working: http://imgur.com/yhpCG3r

Setting autocomplete=on on the input fixes this... but also results in it displaying an annoying popup above the input with all the messages you've sent... bleh
