What would also be useful is the ability to set the brightness with a start and end time (similar to night mode). When there is a lot of sunlight during the day, the LEDs could shine brighter, and when it gets dark, they could be dimmed slightly. This way, there would be no need to use the LDR sensor.

You can add this, of course, but this is not a feature for everyone. I have already considered using the sunrise and sunset time from the internet for something similar, but this is a special feature only for some users.

You can implement it and make a pull request. Then, if you want to share it with others, I can create a special branch for it.

I understand that you think this setting is not suitable for everyons, but wouldn't it be nice just to have more options in the menu, so the user can choose? Maybe you could code this together with the automatic timezone dectection? (and as option with a togglebutton)

Yeah, I will put it on my ToDo list, but I don't know when I will have the time to implement it. It may take 2-3 more weeks.

I have implemented a dark mode instead of the night mode (dimmed to 50% brighntess). You can currently configure the times via the night mode settings and switch them on and off. Another idea is that I make a pragmatic polynomial calculation and use it to calculate the sunset time (accuracy approx. 10 minutes). => implemented soon....
