New feature requests from user:
- let the customer choose how to structure the Prefix/suffix (two number year + custom prefix/suffix.. eg like the company ID) and export the list to CSV.
- extract other info listed in standard little endian and in big endian streams (see last addendum there http://thebuildingcoder.typepad.com/blog/2013/01/basic-file-info-and-rvt-file-version.html ) like worksharing & workset info
- further enhanced version would even list the family category and hosting type (face based, wall based, …) if available in the OLE streams and add them in the name too !
- If possible, in the future, it would be “the top” if info could be pushed to Windows’ files metadata fields without having to add too many prefixes to the filenames !
For now I’m using Ant-Renamer after having used your app when I’ve got to do a time consuming batch renaming. They have super-flexible string modifiers (even based on metadata !)
