2.0.3 breaks fontawesome icon use across site

Not sure why but switching from like January's master or so to today's 2.0.3. renders all fontawesome use broken across the site (I use it quite extensively).

Edit: not just those I use in the content, but also those that are part of Tweeki's navigational elements

So I have been playing around a bit, but I can't seem to be able to identify where the problem might stem from. Are there specific things I could look into, @thaider ? Or maybe it's just something broken somewhere? :) From what I can tell, there were no major changes to the skin that had directly anything to do with FA, right?

Is this still a thing? Is your wiki publicly accessible? What version of MediaWiki are you using?

Hi, yes it's still a thing, nothing has changed. It's MW 1.38.2
Since nothing's changed on my end, were there any changes the first half of this year that might have had an impact on this?
