[FEATURE] Aspect-Ratio–Aware Layout for Mixed-Size Galleries (#146)

Describe the bug
First off — I really like the direction with the newer layout types 👍
They’ve been a great addition overall.

That said, it looks like much of the behavior introduced with the aspect-ratio–aware layouts is no longer present.

Currently I mostly get uniform rectangles / squares again:

  • across multiple Masonry variants
  • and in Mosaic

Images no longer seem to influence tile shape based on aspect ratio — the layouts behave similarly to fixed uniform tiling.
This feels like a regression compared to earlier behavior.

To Reproduce

  1. Open a gallery with mixed portrait and landscape images
  2. Switch between Masonry layouts
  3. Switch to Mosaic
  4. Observe tile shapes

Expected behavior

Actual behavior

  • Tiles appear mostly uniform
  • Frequently rendered as rectangles/squares
  • Aspect ratio influence appears minimal or absent

Environment

  • PicPeak Version: (e.g. 3.13 beta)
  • Browser: Chrome / Edge
