Do NOT give a log file to your teacher, and you should be fine. If I understood correctly, the SEB log file is always only stored locally on your computer.

On windows 10, Log files are stored at %LocalAppData%\SafeExamBrowser\Logs

"Sort files by latest" and READ the log files, maybe you can see what's the problem which alerted your teacher?

If possible, please mention name of the university, when reporting does the patch work at exams without email warnings or not.
Please report also, if everything works as should and you have received grades from exams as normal.

Even if the teacher or professors gets the warning, you can use this patch at least once without issues? Then just borrow a notebook / laptop from university for the exam and claim your aggresssive antivirus software must have modified the files. Safe Exam Browser acts like a trojan or a virus, it hijacks your computer! Perhaps some viruses already use SEB to gain admin access to your computer?

At least the test exam works at my university here in the capital of a country famous for manufacturing icebreakers, but I haven't yet had opportunity to try actual exams.

Maybe the email is not sent to you teacher, if you avoid suspicious activity during the exam? Keep the exam full screen? Don't paste text from other apps to Safe Exam Browser?

Alt - PrintScreen shortcut is still disabled even with the patch so screenshots to my Onedrive are disabled: Screenshots are taken and they are saved to my OneDrive during the "test exam", but from all other except "safe exam browser".
Fortunately, WindowsKey-V shortcut works so I can try to copy the exam questions to Win10 clipboard and then hope the questions will be the same in the next exam. Except some questions can be figures, but the figures/pictures are usually from the course book so just read the pictures from your course book.
PRO TIP: PIN clipboard entries you want to keep. Even after windows 10 reboot (automatic deleting of clipboard entries), or manually deleting by choosing "Clear All", pinned entries are not deleted. So rebooting is no longer a problem?

Or just buy a Microsoft Surface device, attach external USB keyboard and install a USB keylog device between the external keyboard and Surface. Then you can read the exam questions after the exam, if you manually type the questions during the exam. And you can check did you answer correctly by reading the coursebook or by asking ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude. Claude sucks, it refuses to answer if it thinks it is an exam question, even if one is a paying subscriber, don't pay for that crap.

You could probably do it one time and blame it on something but they might want you to retake the test and yes it sends an email about your specific PC to the teacher so they might ask you to check your PC
