Group updates not happening automatically

The README file says that a group's membership will be synced up every time the user logs in but this doesn't seem to be the case. I'm adding myself to an LDAP group, logging onto BugZilla but the group doesn't appear under Permissions.

If I run the LDAP sync script and refresh the Permissions page, the group appears.

Similarly, if I then remove myself from the LDAP group, log out and log back in to BugZilla, the group is still listed under Permissions until I run the sync script again.

I've followed the first three steps of the README file so I'm not sure what I've missed out or misunderstood.

@pcolmer I'm having the same problem. What's the LDAP sync script you mentioned?

Have you implemented a work-around? Maybe scheduling that script to run periodically?
