F1 Next Race Countdown and Standings show error message no network

When previewing in scriptable, it works fine, but when adding it to the desktop, it displays Error: The network connection was lost.

You said desktop - are you using a Mac? This script is for iOS and padOS devices - it has not been tested on Mac and is not currently supported (I don't own a Mac to test it with).

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear that I was using it on an iPhone. It should be Home Screen

Hm, strange, this is the first time anyone has had this issue. The only thing I can think of is the Scriptable app doesn't have access to "cellular data" - if you go to iOS Settings > Apps > Scriptable, make sure cellular data is turned on.

There is no problem with the network. I turned on cellular data and connected to Wi-Fi. The problem is that I can preview it normally in scriptable, but after adding it to homescreen, it shows that there is no network connection. 😂

Thanks, I forgot that script was on my repo - I thought this was about the weekend schedule script. The script you're having an issue with was added here from an old Reddit post and I was going to tinker with it when I got a chance. It clearly needs some work.

Sorry about that. The other script, Next F1 Race Schedule is one I developed with the assistance of many other great people and coders - it looks particularly good on the lock screen, but can be added as a Home Screen widget as well.

OK, thank you. I really like your scripts, they are both beautiful and practical. I am not sure if this error is caused by some of my own reasons. Thank you for your reply.

It is not, the script needs to be re-written to account for iOS updates from the last several years. The error you experienced happens to me as well.
