ERROR when running ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp male_female.unionbedcv

Hi Timnat,

I have an error when trying to execute from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp male_female.unionbedcv
As below:

[jc944397@ln01:243 WGRS_Autralia_red_snapper]% ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp male_female.unionbedcv
./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp: line 2: /0: Permission denied
./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp: line 17: using: command not found
./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp: line 19: syntax error near unexpected token (' ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp: line 19: int main( int argc , char** argv ) {'

I am running in HPC system which I think maybe an issue.

Do you have any recommendation to get through it?

Hi Vu, I think the problem is that you are trying to run * ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0.cpp* file (code file), instead of executable *./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0* If you are running stage by stage you would need to put in your script a command similar to $FOLDER_PATH/from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 sample1_sample2.unionbedcv 10 219 10 240 1000 500 ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 male_female.unionbedcv *parameters* You can download executable (binary code) for from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 from github or compile it by running command *make* while you are in the folder that contains from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_*window_CC0.cpp *and* Makefile* Please try it and let me know if it worked. It's me to bother you again.

When I am trying to run "make" in the folder contain files: it showed as below:
make: 'from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0' is up to date.

If I run "make Makefile", it showed "make: Nothing to be done for 'Makefile'."

I also try in my laptop but giving the same.

Please instruct me how to fix it.

It means that you already have from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 in your folder 1. try running ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 2. if you get an error: "Permission denied", then you might need to change permissions to allow this file to be executable, run chmod +x ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 ./from_unionbed_to_ratio_per_window_CC0 3.
