Max # Tweets per day

Is there a way to add a constraint to the maximal number of Tweets downloaded in any single day for this script?

For Example if I wished to download Tweets for Apple 2017-01-01 - 2017-12-31 but only a maximum of 1000 tweets in each single day.

I would suggest to use rate_delay_seconds = 24*60*60 / 1000.

Hi Braun, I tried what you suggested yet that just massively increases the search time.

Ideally it should go faster to limit the number of tweets to 1k per day rather than to take the maximum if the maximum is more than 1k per day.

Do you have any other recommendation?

That would be highly appreciated.
