max size of a paste

What is the maximum entity size of the nginx front proxy? Can/should this be written down somewhere as to know where to split large files?

The nginx max body size is larger than the current maximum paste size as enforced by the pastebin service itself.

Also, if you're sending large files, perhaps a pastebin service is not the place to put them. What use-case doe you have in mind?

No use case. I was thinking to show the maximum paste size in the footer or somewhere else.

I could show the maximum size, but I think I'll leave it out for now.

Reasoning: the current limit is fairly high, I think, so in normal usage you're unlikely to hit it. (Though of course if that assumption is wrong, the limit should be revised.) I'm not sure I want to support whatever counts as "abnormal usage". On the flip side, mentioning a number invites people to explore that number, so putting it on the front page may entice people to try and figure out e.g. whether it's a ≤ or < limit, or something, and thus fall into the abnormal usage that I'm trying to avoid.

Or perhaps I'm just being stubborn. :) Let's say if someone else comes along and requests the information, it's apparently useful to people and I'll put it on.
