Description
We're seeking expert review of TRAIL's federation model for multi-registry trust resolution.
The current spec (v1.1.0) defines how multiple TRAIL registries can interoperate, but we want external critique on:
- Trust propagation across registries - How should trust flow when Agent A is verified by Registry X but queried through Registry Y?
- Conflict resolution - What happens when the same agent DID exists in multiple registries with different trust scores?
- Performance implications - Cross-registry resolution latency, caching strategies, eventual consistency trade-offs.
Relevant spec sections: Section 5 (Federation)
Prior art: did:web federation, did:ion anchoring
If you have experience with distributed identity systems or federated protocols, we'd love your perspective.
