Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Set overlay to show on monitor
0
- Reboot
- Overlay might end up on the wrong monitor (as monitor 0 and the other monitor has swapped indexes on this boot)
- Update config to use new monitor index (repeat step 2-4)
Expected behavior
Overlay appears on the correct monitor, this is a triple monitor setup for reference.
Problematic behavior
It seems like the monitor indexes can randomly get shuffled at boot, making the overlay display on the wrong monitor.
This might be an underlying problem with some libraries and not directly a discover overlay issue.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- Operating System / Distrobution : Bazzite
- Desktop Environment : KDE (wayland)
Installation Method
Discord client information
- Install method : flatpak
- Version : latest flatpak
Additional context
So far from what i have noticed, only index 0 and 1 seem to swap places, will update this if i notice i have to swap to index 2 at any point.
The indexes seem to be shuffled each time to be assigned a new index.
