Phonegap 2.X support

Are there any plans to support newer versions of phonegap?

I'm using phonegap 2.7 on android, and get the error

exec() call to unknown plugin: PhonogapAudio

I don't expect that we will do any updates to the Phonegap/cordova code ourselves. We would however very much welcome pull requests from people who forked the code and updated it. If we can do anything (like reorganizing the repo) to make that easier or more likely, just let us know.
