The status of XML files: are they supported?

Well I ask this because XML support is mentioned nowhere. But I open XML files inside Bookshare DAISY books, select to run them as HTML files, and everything is displayed properly including headings, table of contents, links, etc. The only caveat is that book titles are displayed in half.
So will XML support be part of DAISY support in V0.7, or will DAISY support be added by adding zipped DAISY books?

I've never tried parsing raw XML in PB, but it'll probably work, we support XHTML at least. I guess I could ass .xml to the list of supported files.

I think that would be a good idea. At least the ones which are bundled with Bookshare DAISY files work though book titles are displayed in half.

Hi Quin. Any chance of adding XML to the list of officially supported files? It's a bit annoying to deal with the "unsupported file dialog" each time a new XML file, most likely from a DAISY book, is encountered. Of course, this is also tightly related to DAISY support, so you may want to tackle them together.
