Gowalla and Last.fm

Thank you for your interest in our work.
As the Steps 2 & 3 in README shows, you need to download the datasets and then use preprocess.py to preprocess the data.
Specifically, you need to download and extract loc-gowalla_totalCheckins.txt from here, userid-timestamp-artid-artname-traid-traname.tsv from here.
Suppose you put loc-gowalla_totalCheckins.txt and userid-timestamp-artid-artname-traid-traname.tsv to the datasets folder, then you run the following commands:

python preprocess.py -d gowalla -f datasets/loc-gowalla_totalCheckins.txt
python preprocess.py -d lastfm -f datasets/userid-timestamp-artid-artname-traid-traname.tsv
