"Reset to Default Settings" removes all default filter list, dynamic filtering rules and trusted sites

Prerequisites

• I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.

• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

• uBO is the only extension.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

When uBlock Origin has the settings reset to default settings, there are no default filter list, dynamic rules or trusted sites unlike what is specified in the documentation for Dashboard: Filter lists, Dashboard: My rules or Dashboard: Trusted sites. As a result of this, networks that are supposed to be blocked are not blocked from disabled lists. This has been tested with a new install of uBlock Origin and the issue still persist.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install uBlock Origin from uBlock0_1.67.1b4.firefox.signed.xpi
2. open uBlock Origin dashboard
3. press "Reset to deafult settings..." below "Back up to file..." and "Restore from file..." on the Settings pane
4. re-open uBlock Origin dashboard
5. click on Filter lists and My rules panes

Expected behavior

When "Reset to default settings..." is pressed, the default filter lists, dynamic filtering rules and trusted sites should enabled be as specified in the documentation.

Actual behavior

All filter list, dynamic filtering rules and trusted sites that are by default per the documentation are supposed to be enabled, are not actually enabled.

Does the issue happen if you install uBO on a new browser profile? Does it happen in a stable Firefox? 147 is Nightly, right?

I'm unable to reproduce either, with Nightly 147 + uBO 1.67.1b4.

I use Firefox Nightly 147 as the issues occurred. After spending several hours trying to figure stuff out using Firefox Troubleshooting Mode, disabling all extentions except uBlock Origin, resetting the browser settings eventually I had to just completely scrap the browser profile over a new one.

What was bizarre is that I used Firefox Nightly since version 136 and this never occurred whenever Firefox Nightly updated to a new number version (136 -> 137 -> 138 ...). Having a new browser profile, uBlock Origin by default is working as expected (I use a heavily modified build of uBlock Origin and I understand that there are risk with that I have to figure out, not the volunteers).

This only happened when Firefox updated to it's next major version (146 -> 147) on the day Firefox Nightly 147 was released.

File corruption does sometimes happen during browser updates. It's not limited just to nightly builds either.

Not the actual source code for uBlock Origin itself, I was referring to the additional included filter list that are included that are not enabled when default settings are used. I also use the Medium Mode and additional custom list from HaGeZi.

Not the actual source code itself, I don't have the knowledge to modify the uBlock Origin source code at all. I know that by modifying the settings outside of what is the default, any issues can occur and have to be fixed by me, not the volunteers.
