how can I get

How can I get to do the following (please pardon me I'm a novice to Java):

1. Add a prefix to every line (let's say a prompt like "/folderdirectory/:"
2. Get the String of last entered text 
3. add output to screen on an ENTER

Also,

in the emacsbinding of KeyBindingUtils, can we add to each case to execute some of our code when certain keys are hit?
