Hi! Thank you for sharing this code. I am just getting started with Android Wear and I was using your code as an example. I would really appreciate if you can answer some question - you bind the service in the Wear Activity, where do you unbind it? For how long is it active? What happens if you destroy the activity and then start the application again? Sorry again for being silly, I am just trying to get my head around how it all works :). Thanks.

Sorry, I missed your question until now.
If you unbind the service, the wear module cannot send data to it anymore. If we do not unbind and the service keeps running, if the activity is destroyed and restarted, it binds again to the existing service and you immediately have the latest data available.
That said, I must admit that I did not test this in every detail, so I might be totally wrong.
