Add `averageLatency` and `currentLatency`

I think we should expose at least the `currentLatency` as a reactive variable, but latency over time can help an application dynamically adjust its needs over time as well. The `strength` feature gets close, but is a bit of a black box.

Of course, we should have a discussion before throwing more features in, so comments/thoughts welcome!
