Any plans to MIT/BSD this bad boy?

Curious if any license thoughts had been considered for this work?

Absolutely none whatsoever, lol. I'm happy for anyone to take this and work with it / fix any of the various issues it has. I may look at taking out the code that loads the ROO file itself and look at utilising some of the opensource Doom JavaScript work to base a re-work of the renderer on.

The biggest issue with this is not the rendering / UI etc, it's really that either a WebSocket connection would need to be added into the existing server, or, potentially, port the server to Node.JS or similar which would be a big task.

This was more an exercise to see if it could be done using the existing assets, and, to maybe inspire someone / some people with the possibility of what could be achieved with this being playable inside a browser. At work, I sometimes pull this out to show what can be done, and I have a standard business machine at work, around 6 years old, and it will run the levels I tested this with at 60fps (which is the fps cap). I do have some small amount of inspiration again perhaps as i have been doing more and more with Node.JS recently so whilst i probably wont update this repository any more, i may pull some of this code into a new project at some point when i perhaps get something a bit tidier.

All that said, i'd be more than happy for anyone interested to get in touch if they would like to take this over / assist.
