After a long meeting last Friday with all the senior developers and teach leads from all departments, the management team have decided to not take action regarding this issue until the next quarter. The reason for this is that this feature was found to (after some investigation) not be a part of the final client specification that Josh R. and his team reviewed back in late October last year.

We have mediated this to the client and although they are not happy about this decision, they have to understand our processes and the fact that they cannot change the specification during development. Mike W mentioned that there is space and time to implement this feature from his side, but Angela feels that her team is already swarmed with work from the last release cycle which failed epically so they will not have to finish the render engine in time if this feature were to be implemented.

That also leads to the QA team, which has left the office for a 4-week teambuilding trip in Cabo. A very interesting decision by their team lead considering that they are already 16 release cycles behind and should all be fired. But that's really Marcus' decision as the head of the division.

I have heard all of your voices and I understand that many of you in this team want to implement this feature for the grand gesture-ness, even though the company will most likely go bankrupt. So on Friday when we have the fika-meeting we will also discuss if we should commit mutiny by implementing this feature with hidden bugs just to fuck with the client since he's a billionaire a**hole. So until Friday please make your own personal decision and we'll come to a vote.

Also Martin, don't fucking forget the fika this week or I swear to god I will fire your ass without severance pay.

I'm reopening this issue now because last Friday Martin brought chocolate balls for fika, but to my utter disgust they were made of dates and not traditional butter. So I obviously had to fire him and now this issue is reopened just to remind everyone that those who don't bring ice cream (bing chilling) to fika will have consequences.
