Using this to determine ELO rankings?

I'm pretty new to GitHub, and only moderately experienced with programming, but is there an effective way to use this data to determine ELO rankings for the fighters? Given that the sport is so young and (perhaps nearly) every result is on Sherdog, generating ELO rankings for every fighter seems like it would be very possible. There's one website that does this already, www.mma-elo.com, but it's updated VERY infrequently, missing a LOT of fights, and is done by hand (!). Having an automated way to calculate ELO rankings could provide some really interesting data and fill a niche for stat-heads.
