blme needs revision ahead of lme4 2.0-0

I've sent two e-mail messages to maintainer("blme") but I haven't gotten a reply. I'm trying here in case that e-mail address is out of date.

The first e-mail provides a minimal patch that allows blme to work under lme4 2.0-0. The changes in the patch that replace theta with par break compatibility with older lme4, so you would have to augment the patch to preserve compatibility or else change to Depends: lme4 (>= 2.0-0) in DESCRIPTION. In the latter case, you would wait until lme4 2.0-0 is published before submitting blme to CRAN.

Can you reply indicating if you've seen the e-mail and what route you intend to take?
