Plugin doesn't work in exported canvas

I have an exported canvas/group layer, and when I open it in a new tab to animate the shapes, then attempt to create a joystick for the animation, the plugin simply closes the tab without creating any joystick. Is there a solution?

Can you share a simple example file for me to recreate? I believe exported canvas is not fully supported, but can add support for it.

Thanks for reporting, I did take a look at it.

Current code doesn't take into consideration about exported canvas and just looks at the Groups that are at the parent canvas.

A fix would be simple, I would implement it sooner.
