[Question] State of the project

Hi folks,

I wanted to ask about the state of this operator, is it production ready? Are there people using it in production now?

I'm asking because the activity is quite low on this and most GVK versions used are outdated and deprecated on newer versions of Kubernetes.

Sure @ioolkos, I'll try to study a few other operator projects and see how we can make this better.

Any opinions on how operator should talk to VerneMQ instances for controlling it?

I have seen in HAProxy Ingress operator that they use a unix socket mounted at a shared location for operator to give commands to HAProxy instance. What can be the equivalent for VerneMQ? Any way operator can trigger Erlang RPC calls?
Ps: I have limited experience with Erlang.
