Remote Terminal Session Disconnected during migrate will the snapshot full copy still be processing in the background?

Was performing the first cycle migrate on a VMware VM through the Openstack instance and lost internet to the site during the process.
When performing the command again on a onsite terminal instead to avoid that repeating. It says a snapshot already exists. I'm pretty sure the snapshot would not be complete, but was wondering will the full copy cycle still be processing in the background after the terminal disconnected?
