I have to admit that it seems that Python is getting much wider support not only related to this particular field, however, I do believe that Julia has some strong points as well and a joyful and very helpful community. If I may ask, what is the area associated with predictive models that you are the most interested in? And how about visualisations?

@CloudyPhysics It seems to look that the event is exclusively targeting in-person participants so unfortunately I will not be able to take part. In general, my focus is explicitly on a hobby of sailing. Currently, in particular on i) quantum: geometric algebra, symplectic geometry, shortest path optim algos and ii) on ai: reinforcement learning, synthetic vs near real time data and adjoint and forward sensitivity methods. Those topics are different than my background, however, I am happy to discuss them at a general level also in terms of various approaches related to visualisations. Our hobby is performance sailing so in case anything above is to your particular interest please be assured that the discussion could be also about details and some of the peculiarities.
