• Document design rationale and scope

• At this stage to kickstart the design and in the slides

• After sign off - VF component release (out of scope)

• Run an ideation session to explore and consolidate ideas

• Create wireframes based on the ideation results

• Present design solutions to the team

• Review the presentation and align content for WCC

As per discussion with team on 23rd Jan:

We should break this exercise into below topics

• Create a responsive design solution for the current EBI corporate footer( Reference the Intranet footer) - 1 day effort
• Create mockups for light weight version of the corporate footer with some use cases ( With standard EBI Content showcasing EBI resources to be a part on EMBL-EBI, Option for EBI resources with collaborators / funders ( logo or credits ) - Possibly with a white background) - We will need to collaborate with Comms on the content.
• Create design solution(s) for modular variant(s) for EBI footer
• Create a modular variant with white background option
• Create a documentation for the usage criteria for different solutions with some criteria’s around it.
