I am getting a lot of sql syntax errors. the help system isn't displaying anything and when I check the sql db it's all there, but it can't read it. It tells me separator error.

I've recently been trying to install this and I've been having the exact same issue.

When using +help, nothing displays. Check the database and the entries are all there. Try and +help something (IE: +help +id) and it returns:

Looks like a bulk of it stems from chr(177) and chr(176) returning a #-1 UNPRINTABLE CHARACTER error in code debugs, which then causes the seperator error.

Try installing the iso-8859-1 (latin1) charset on your server if you don't have it already, then edit LANG in your restart script to read LANG=en_US.iso-8859-1 (or whatever language you're using). Do a full @shutdown and restart the MUSH. Those chr() calls should hopefully work after that.
