Distortion in h264 video

hi, i have a h264 video stream over RTP. i use wireshark plugin(lua) to extract this h264, but after extraction the video does not play correctly, (Distortion in video).can any one help me?

Is this pcap contains two way videos? If so, try to filter out one side and try this plugin again.

hi leo5374, this pcap does not contain two way videos. when i Check IDR slice of this video, the frame number fielde is equal to 5, but in standard it says the frame number of IDR slice shall be equal to 0!!
ITU-T H.264 page 79:
If the current picture is an IDR picture, frame_num shall be equal to 0.

You are referring the nal_unit_type ? If so, nal_unit_type equal to 5 (a slice of an IDR picture) as per standard. I think you may have read it incorrectly. See table 7-1 from the std doc.

The problem I'm having using this h264 extraction tool is that it dumps only 1 IDR picture at the initial call and no more IDR (or key frames) afterwards, Therefore, the rest of the frames are garbage. I believe this tool has bug in this regard.
