As far as I know the Blog offers one single RSS feed and the same goes for News.
There are taxonomies like 'ecosystems', 'categories' or 'tags' that allow people to find finer grained content, but apparently no way to subscribe to those.
We have made a number of groups use the single blog (instead of their previous bespoke wordpress instances) and they can use specific taxonomies to add metadata to their content. Could we offer a way for people to follow (at least some) taxonomies?
Additional context
If such a feature existed, it would allow at least one team to simplify the homepage they maintain and to avoid duplicating the creation of news items both as w3.org News entries, and their own on a separate page (i.e., WAI news).
Likewise, other groups might be able to use the Blog and allow for following in a feed only the posts that match a given taxonomy (i.e., the TAG).
