A good discussion here highlighted that gRPC and Hydra examples should likely be removed from conformsTo, and gRPC added to the examples for apiTransport.
This has been amended in the current schema.org PR for the sake of expediency, however we should consider whether we want to reflect this change in our report, or recommend additional examples. Any route forward could then be taken into a subsequent schema.org PR.
@smrgeoinfo has recommended some alternative examples, which have been briefly discussed here.
