LEDs malfunctioning (bottom row leds stuck in ON state)

The module works correctly but the bottom row of LEDs seem to be malfunctioning.

S1 - S8 are working correctly (they show both red and green lights)
S9 - S14, 16 are stuck on green
S15 is stuck at off and only turns red when pressed, when the sequencer runs S15 shows a red flash like its supposed to but still no green lights on it.

The lights seem to be stuck in this state even while the module is booting up, S1 - S8 flash after the boot up finishes, S9 - S14, 16 are stuck on green from the start and S15 flashes red once the boot up finishes.

this is a new issue (it was not always like this, happened on a random day). Reinstalling the firmware via the micro sdcard did not fix it.

Any suggestions on how i could fix this? Im a little reluctant with trying to reflash the bootloader with a STLink or something because if i fuck that up then this thing will be bricked for good.

Did you check the hardware with tester.hex? I've got an defective PER|FORMER with some buttons and LEDs mailfunction. Maybe my module was soldered to messy. And maybe your module got some cold joint after some sessions somewhere in the LED matrix?
